The American Dream - A Woodside Home with Brad Verma

Hi guys Brad Verma here. Welcome to this episode of American Dream. Today I have a beautiful house that I want to showcase for you. The address is 330 Ridgeway Road in Woodside. It's an amazing property, which has a lot of lush landscape all around it.

Woodside is in the heart of Silicon Valley and this particular property sits on a one acre lot. Before I show you the inside I want to show you some really cool features outside. Let's take a look.

There’s plenty of space to park your cars as you can see out there. You have three bays right here and we have some really beautiful cars out here. My favorite one is this one right here - the Lamborghini. Obviously the Ferrari is great too. In addition to the three spaces that you have here, you have a great driveway to park additional cars. You also have access to the backyard right from here so it's very convenient.

This is a formal living area with beautiful crown molding and a great layout that overlooks the front yard. It’s a great space to entertain and then this leads into the dining area as well as the kitchen.

It’s a great layout for the kitchen. I like that you have the family breakfast area right there and then you have a very open kitchen with very high end appliances. Then this area flows into the family area as well right here.

Now we're gonna go check out one of my favorite places in woodside. It's called the Bucks Restaurant. What I love about this community is you have a lot of space to be outdoors. You have beautiful parks and the town itself is very small and gives a very quaint feeling. You can really be in the heart of the Silicon Valley and still feel like you're in the woods. That's why you have this name Woodside. It's surrounded by beautiful trees and there are a lot of redwood trees out here. It’s just a great community to to raise a family, to recreate and to enjoy the outdoors.

Now we're gonna go take a look at one of the best restaurants in Woodside called Bucks. That’s my favorite place to go on Sundays with my daughter. We're gonna talk to the owner and if you're here in town you have to check it out. They have some of the best breakfasts.

Brad: Jamis - It's great to meet you. Can you tell us a little bit about the restaurant - the history of the restaurant and I want to know about this Apple computer 1 right here.

Jamis Macniven (owner): Sure, well we've been here for 28 years now. We've seen a lot of stuff come down here. A lot of firms have had their initial meetings here. So back in the 90s hotmail was founded here. Tesla got their first money here. Netscape had a lot of their foundational meetings here. Paypal was funded here and really hundreds of firms, thousands maybe we don't know. It's always just two people talking. For the last nearly three decades I've been picking up things. This came in recently from a friend of mine Andy Rubin. This is actually an original Apple One. There are less than 100 in existence. This is the whole computer right here. You plugged it into a keyboard and a television set and you're off and running. Wozniak came in and signed it - so that's a pretty precious item. We have literally hundreds of other things that have stories.
